Usually three incisions are made; the first one around the areola (brown area around the nipples), the second one runs vertically from the bottom edge of the areola to the crease underneath the breast, and the third one runs horizontally beneath the breast and follows the natural curve of the breast crease.

However, since Asian people are prone to hypertrophic scars, we only make one incision around the areola.
